Myriad is a supplier of spare parts specializing in the transport refrigeration sector of the industry. Established in October 2000 have been trading successfully from our Southampton premises, ideally situated on a modern industrial estate next to the hustle and bustle of the busy docks, since January 2001.

One of the keys to our ongoing success has been the steady and continual expansion of the amount of stock we hold, with over three thousand product lines now available off the shelf for next day delivery anywhere in the UK and Ireland and also much of mainland Europe.

This large stock holding, coupled with the diversity of the spare parts held, which entails multiple applications across numerous O.E.M’s has proved a winning formula in satisfying the needs of an ever demanding market place.  The diversity of stock-held has been directly dictated by the needs of our customers and their customers alike, with many operators now running mixed fleets of van, truck and trailer fitted with different manufacturer’s refrigeration units covering a spectrum of varied temperature applications.  Although reticent to advertise ourselves by the over-used and sometimes misleading description of a ‘one-stop-shop’ there are certainly elements of this philosophy incorporated in our business.

Apart from the level and diversity of our stock holding, the other major factor in our success so far has been the identification and sourcing of high quality, European manufactured, alternative replacement parts.  A shining example of this is the exclusive access now offered to us in the UK and Ireland on the range of centrifugal clutches and repair kits offered by Italian manufacturer Nova Distribution S.r.l

The range that they offer includes alternatives to the majority of popular Thermo King and Carrier trailer applications and they are also in the stages currently of developing and testing new products for use with the smaller truck applications which are scheduled for release in Summer 2010, no doubt our account customers will be made aware of this new product launch via www.myriadparts.com
