MYRIAD PARTS to launch new online ordering platform at TCS&D Show 2019 It’s been a demanding but exciting year for transport refrigeration parts distributor Myriad Parts. Since we interviewed them back in July 2018, the Myriad team has been working hard to get their new online ordering platform ready for its official launch, at the 2019 Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution Show.

Based in the UK, with a global customer base, Myriad Parts has been serving the transport sector for nearly 20 years. During this time the company’s culture has been built around care; a small but powerful word that has been the driving force behind the company’s new online ordering platform.

Using technology to reach more customers
Karol Smoter, Operations Director at Myriad Parts explained, “Building and nurturing long-term relationships with potential and existing customers is very important to us. Our customers are based all over the world and we wanted them to be able to check stock in ‘real time’, look at their order history and place orders 24/7, regardless of which time zone they’re in, our new ordering platform lets them do that and so much more.”

Myriad’s new online ordering platform delivers more than just convenience to customers. It puts them in control of their ordering experience.

Karol continued, “We love speaking directly with our customers, but we also know how important it is to them to be able to order spare parts when it suits them. The feedback we have had so far has been very positive and the platform is a real winner with our customers. Now we’re looking forward to its official launch at the TCS&D show in June – so if you’re at the show pop along to stand C35 for a coffee and a demo.”

The new online platform has been built around customers’ needs and is designed to save time and make ordering more efficient. Myriad understands how important it is to their customers to get the most current pricing, to be able to identify parts quickly and easily and access invoices and order history wherever they are, day or night. As well as giving demos at the show, Myriad Directors, Stephen and Karol, will be on hand to answer questions and get suggestions for future development of the platform.

Championing customer service
Over the past 19 years, Myriad has built their business around five core areas – Price, Performance, Quality, Service and Support – they refer to this magic formula as PPQSS and it is at the heart of everything they do. Not content with just putting customer service at their centre of their own business, Myriad are committed to championing it across the sector. This year they are proud sponsors of the Transport Refrigeration Service Provider Award at the TCS&D Awards, which are taking place on the first night of the show.

This year the judging panel will be looking for an example of outstanding customer service or achievement in this category, with the winner following in the footsteps of Longhurst Refrigeration, who lifted the prestigious award in 2018.

Karol commented, “Customer service is extremely important to us at Myriad, we have always put customers at the heart of our business and being sponsors of the Transport Refrigeration Service Provider Award is just one of the ways we can show our commitment. We can’t wait to find out who this year’s winner will be”.

Supporting World Refrigeration Day
During this year’s show, on 26 June, Myriad Parts will also be supporting the first annual World Refrigeration Day, which aims to put the spotlight on the important contribution that refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps make globally across so many aspects of modern life.

With an estimated 4 million refrigerated vehicles in use around the world - made up of 30% trailer 30% large trucks and 40% small trucks and vans - Myriad are keen to show their support for the day.
